REFUGE ROBOTICS

Refuge Robotics is a new robotics club for the children of refugee and immigrant families as well as other children living in and around east Dayton. During June and July, we will hold promotional events called “Lego Parties” in various locations nearby. We plan to form 3 or more First Lego League teams that will start meeting weekly in August. First Lego League is a program from the globally recognized First Inspires youth robotics organization (https://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/fll). We are actively seeking volunteer mentors, parents, and students. Anyone with interest is encouraged to attend one of our promotional events listed below:

  1. Lego Party on Sat, June 7, 10am-12pm at (location to be determined)

  2. Lego Party on Sat, June 21, 10am-12pm at (location to be determined)

  3. Lego Party on Sat, July 5, 10am-12pm at (location to be determined)

  4. Lego Party on Sat, July 19, 10am-12pm at (location to be determined)

  5. Lego Party on Sat, August 2, 10am-12pm at (location to be determined)

  6. Season Start Party on Sat, August 5, 6-8pm at Stepping Stones Daycare (215 Burkhardt Ave).

After the Season Start Party on August 5, we will continue meeting weekly at Stepping Stones Daycare (215 Burkhardt Ave).
